BPC- 157, also known as pentadecapeptide is a synthetic peptide derived from a protein in the stomach. It was initially used to prevent stomach ulcers , but researchers noticed several other potential use such as tissue repair benefits.

BPC-157 has promoting effect on tendon healing involves tendon outgrowth, cell survival and cell migration. It accelerates muscle healing in the injured area. BPC-157 is also a potential new therapy for
Inflammatory bowel diseases.
